Your worth is not defined by the amount of things you do in a day. We all need to look after ourselves at the moment. You are worthy. Always.

Fantastic chat with Louise Harrington about all of the amazing work the NSPCC are doing as part of their Pregnancy In Mind program. Excited about working together and learning from each other so we can give as much support to parents as possible! #BetterTogether

A touching reading. What strikes me is that much of what women report is relevant outside of the pandemic and highlights to often unspoken side of motherhood.

We welcome this, however, the reality is that many amazing children’s centres around the UK, have seen their budgets reduced along with services & staff. This is not ok. We must see this ‘new’ package reverse this & build back up these vital resources. theguardian.com/society/2021/m…

It’s always ok to ask for support, even if you don’t quite know what you need or how you’re feeling. Our new programme at Bluebell Place, our wellbeing hub, starts next week, if you’d like to know more then drop an email to [email protected] #perinatalmentalhealth #bristol

I absolutely agree with Dr. Jessica Taylor. As a psychiatrist I meet women who have been through services and experienced precisely this. I often work with them to remove a diagnosis of EUPD from their records and signpost to trauma informed psychological therapies or support.
