Instead of hundreds of roadmaps we should have a resource of "tacit auditing knowledge". Like a 8 hour live stream of the best auditors / bug hunters just doing their work. Knowledge alone isn't very useful, we need to see how the process of applying it works.

Total DeFi market cap has peaked at 160 billion in December 2024. The all time high was at 200 billion in 2021. Even if we expect just a 2x multiple over the 2021 high, we get 400 billion. I don't think the bull run has started yet, we are still in the transition period.

Imo what has reduced the EV of audit contests the most is that they run forever now. There's only so much of an advantage you can have from experience that can't be replaced by other auditors simply spending more time on the codebase.

Why does nobody post their audit earnings anymore? We could at least say if it's 7, 8 or 9 figures👀

When you have a lot of auditing experience, it becomes a matter of tuning into the "vibes". After that, you just need to clean up, expand, test (which is the easy part).

Honestly, there should be more advice how NOT to lose the auditing money again. How to make money has been covered by now. Feels like at every corner there are dangers (even though in the bull run they are somewhat hidden).
