End of 1, Hooeys tuck in 3 that period to Trine’s zero. Venable, Birnbaum, and Schwartz get the first period goals. Need to keep the momentum in the second and blow this thing open! #hooeys

End of 2, Hooeys tuck in two more to take a four goal lead into the second. Schwartz and Nyhan get the Indiana goals. 20 more miles to bear down and come out of here with a win! #hooeys

End of 3, Hooeys move on to the second round and will face Purdue tomorrow at 4pm. Valentini, Birnbaum and Ammel get the third period goals. Need a solid effort tomorrow! #hooeys

Our fourth line balled out today and provided a lot of the offense. Schwartz gets the hard hat and chain while Nyhan gets the first goal of his career. And Horny was just being Horny!

It’s round 2 of the ICHC playoffs. Indiana takes on Purdue for a chance at revenge for the two losses earlier this month. Has to be a full 60 minutes today for all 20 guys. It’s do or die time! #hooeys

End of 2, Birnbaum gets the only goal of the period. Time to bear down, play with more intensity, and get the puck out of the dangerous areas. 20 more miles to get this job done! #hooeys

End of3, DOWN GOES NUMBER ONE. The Hooeys knock off Purdue in a full team effort. Ammel gets the third period goal and Meeker shuts down the Boilermakers attack! Meeker also earns the hard hat and chain! At 9am tomorrow we leave it all out there in one last game.
