After the trip to Cornwall this week, I'm on the Isle of Wight today for a little day trip!

Pictured at The Needles, Southern Vectis 1991 (WDL 691) heads up the hill for a stop at The Needles & Old Battery whilst on the Needles Breezer.

My short trip to Cornwall comes to a close, I've managed to visit a few places by bus including Mousehole, Lizard Point and many more! Hopefully my next trip to Cornwall won't be too far in the future!

This week I'm in Cornwall, a place I haven't been to in almost 5 years! Today involved a bit of pottery but also a trip to The Mousehole! It's a lovely little village with some really scenic views and a bus route that threads its way between the houses.

It has been another lovely day today, I may have been working but I managed to squeeze in some pics this morning!

The Reading Buses open top is out today, finding itself on the Purple 17. Also pictured, Stewarts LG73FMF, RB 758 (YX64VRU) & the Whiteknights lake!

And just like that, my final exam is complete! Thought I'd make use of today's lovely sun and snapped 245 (YX73PHO) making an odd appearance on the 50, pictured at St Mary's Butt's before completing another trip to Green Park.

The sun has been lovely this weekend, something that has been rare this year! Managed to tick off a few bits in High Wycombe & made use of the early morning sun in Reading! Pictured are some of my favourites, including the recently acquired Citaros at Carousel Buses & an ALX400!

The Flightline brand expands! Carousel Buses 609 (SC64OXF) is pictured in High Wycombe as it finishes a trip from Heathrow on the 102.

The Flightline brand now includes routes 102 (CB), 702 (TV) & 730/731 (N&D) creating a new brand identity for routes operating to/from Heathrow.

Finally managed a decent snap of Reading Buses' newest livery in the sun this afternoon.

212 (SN11BVT) is pictured turning onto Valpy Street with its brown & cream livery as it headed for the University of Reading, Whiteknights Campus on the 21a.

It was great to take a look around the Alexander Dennis facility in Farnborough today, seeing some of the new electric vehicles as well as the different components that make up a bus!

Pictured are: Enviro400EV (on local demonstration run), Enviro100EV, Enviro500EV and Enviro200 chassis.

Buses are a sustainable way to travel, but zero-emission buses are even better.

English mayoral authorities have targets to bring in more ZEBs, but new research from Climate Emergency UK shows how far off they are.

We need faster action to decarbonise buses.

I've been in London today visiting friends & the infestation of Lime and Forest bikes is getting a little out of hand. While the pics don't show the large masses seen outside some London termini and key areas, it does show a growing issue that TfL needs to act on quickly.

Some unexpected sun this weekend, less clouds yesterday compared to today though!

A few buses are pictured from different spots in Reading, including Huntley & Palmers, St Mary's Butt's and Reading Station.

Back to Reading for my final term & some repaints have taken place!

212 (SN11BVT) is now in a cream & chocolate brown livery and along with 211 & 213, will spend their time on the Claret 21a between the University and Reading Station.

Nice livery, looks like a biscuit!

Ghost bus completed! Hopped onto the once a week Chiltern Railways replacement bus service from West Ealing to West Ruislip, operated by Metroline & today with VWH2285 (LK17CZN).

The service in its current format is expected to run until late May, with the future a bit unknown!

It is surprising to see but in the last few weeks I've noticed cracks in the interior panels on the BYD ADL Enviro200EV allocated at Harrow (SO). With the amount of rattle some of these buses have, it's not at all surprising.
