Kinder A is learning about Space - Moon and Earth are this week's inquiry. Students placed the objects in the box and then shined the flashlight on the object to create a shadow and drew a picture. Some of students moved the flashlight and noticed how the shadow changed. OCDSB

There has been lots of learning at Hilson about Black Excellence! Mrs. Barters class collaboratively created this art installation of a notable Canadian. The students and staff have been busy sharing their learning and thinking through Mrs. Barrett’s weekly missions. OCDSB

Our 4/5/6 and 3/4 classes created these beautiful wax hearts as a Have a Heart Day initiative. They used the paper hearts to advocate for basic needs in Indigenous communities, such as access to medical care, equal education funding, clean drinking water, and affordable food.
