2/2 A long reach machine is due to be delivered tomorrow which will then allow us to excavate down the side of the cutting to access the canal early next week. We are still on programme to open the navigation for the middle of May.

1/2 UPDATE - Oxford Canal closure at Brinklow #Warwickshire
We've installed an access track in the field above the cutting to allow larger plant and also wagons to take material away and so we can safely access the site.

It may have been a very wet winter but it's still important to use locks properly and to close gates and paddles after use. Please help keep the water where it should be.

Last week the #volunteers at #HillmortonLocks assisted 88 boats an average of 12.6 per day with the busiest day being Friday with 21 boats.
