Recently, our Executive Director, Terese LaVallee, and Warrendale Volunteer Services Coordinator, Meghan O'Mahoney, joined 20+ Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield' volunteers to pack backpacks filled with comfort items for kids entering foster care, ensuring a more supportive start.

We were so honored and grateful to support #CampCourage again! This incredible week-long camp, sponsored by the Buhl Regional Health Foundation, provides a safe and healing space for children in #MercerCounty who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

The Highmark Caring Place was thrilled to present a therapist training in #Erie. We were so excited by the amazing response from the community! By equipping therapists with these skills, we're helping to build a grief-informed community where families can feel supported.

We had so much fun celebrating our #CampHill "Superhero" volunteers at our annual Volunteer Recognition Event! ✨ The night was packed with "super" food, a photo booth, and hilarious "In it to Win it" games. A huge thank you to our #volunteers – your commitment is inspiring! ❤️

Highmark Caring Place teamed up with Erie County Regional Recovery Hub, Taylor's Hope, Lake Erie Youth ROAD Crew, and HOPE animal-assisted crisis response to support families impacted by overdose. We raised awareness, reduced stigma, and remembered loved ones.❤️🦋
