Ending our second week of announcements is Elsa Young! Why she chose Highline: “I chose highline because I really enjoyed the environment the coaches created and I think I can really grow playing there.” Welcome to the T-Bird Family, we’re excited to have you! 💪🏽

Introducing Midfielder Cinthia Cantarero-Machado! Why she chose Highline: “I chose highline because it is close to home and I saw what a great program it is. They are like family and I’m very excited to become apart of that! It is a great fit for me to continue playing soccer.”

Our next announcement goes to Ashley Teofilo who will be a dual enrolled student athlete! Why she chose Highline: “I chose to play at highline to continue pursuing my passion for competitive soccer and my engineering degree.” Welcome to the T-Bird Family Ashley! 💪🏽

Our last announcement this week is Victoria Zalutskiy! “I decided to play at Highline because of the phenomenal things I’ve heard about the women’s soccer program here. I think this program is really going to help me cultivate my skills and bring me to the next level!”

One of our last announcements goes to Forward, Meredith Udovich as a transfer from the University of Montana! Why she chose Highline: “Highline is one of the strongest community college soccer teams in the area, and I have hear many good things about the coaching staff.”

An important key to success is surrounding yourself with people who are striving for greatness. Your inner circle of friends is critical. Beware of friends who are just trying to get by with the least amount of effort or make you feel bad because of your drive and ambition.

Teamwork separates winners & losers. No collection of players, no matter how talented, can consistently win, unless they form a united team. No dream is out of reach for a hard-working, resilient, and unselfish team. Teamwork must be the central focus in everything that is done.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stanford Women's Soccer team and the loss of one of their players. It never hurts to spread a little more love, so be kind to one another. ❤️
