100 years ago on 3 May 1924, Highfield Cricket Club played its first game on the newly developed Billinge Road ground. On May 26th, we are holding a Community Festival, a free admission event designed to celebrate 100 years of life in and around Highfield and Winstanley. 🐿️🏏👌

Top night to kick off our year long programme of centenary celebratory events. Ronnie Irani in the house with one Billy Flywheel. Packed Community Hall had a great time - 40 years of these dinners and this was one of our very best. Thanks to all who supported the event.

It’s with deep sadness we announce the passing of much loved club member of over 35 years, Ken Derbyshire, after a short illness.
Ken died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Wigan Hospice yesterday.
We’ll all miss Ken’s company, his funny stories and humour.
RIP Ken

We begin our centenary year preparation with the start of winter indoor net sessions from Thursday 1 February 6pm-9pm in the sportshall at Deanery High School, Wigan.
