Great to see #Prudhoe using the latest High Streets Task Force visit as a way of amplifying positive #highstreet news! š
High Streets Task Force Whitechapel is an area that is experiencing significant change.
Our Whitechapel Road Improvements Programme, with TfL funded by Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities, has been established to re-invigorate the public spaces and to strengthen the commercial and district centre offer.

Full house at Tower Hamlets Town Hall in London for our fourth and final High Streets Task Force roadshow today.
Great to see so many friendly faces that Iāve engaged with over the years to discuss how the offer on our high streets and town centres can be strengthened and improved.
Today, we are hosting a High Streets Taskforce Roadshow at the Town Hall.
It is a pleasure to welcome colleagues from the High Streets Task Force and council peers, and to be able to share learnings and discuss the latest challenges and opportunities for our communities.
This 'High Street Showcase' event by Darlington Borough Council in partnership with agent Carver Residential Estate & Lettings Agents is a great idea.
My High Streets Task Force work in #Darlington focused on promoting the town and filling vacant units, and this initiative neatly combines the two.

Our first Local Roadshow is in #Wakefield today, with a really engaged audience of place leaders and community champions (and in a fantastic heritage venue).
Join us in Sunderland next week (29th Feb)! Or Bristol and London later in March.

We had a great time in lovely #Whitehaven yesterday with the High Streets Task Force - listening to local people and their ideas about the town centre. One great initiative happening already is the support in place for young entrepreneurs copeland.gov.uk/node/47493 IPM
