I had the pleasure of visiting Watford Fire Station Fire Cadets last night. Volunteers play an active role in the delivery of this youth programme and our cadets wanted to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to our volunteer instructors. #VolunteeersWeek

Our Volunteer Incident Support Team (VIST) assisted Hitchin Residents during recent floods, working alongside colleagues Herts Fire & Rescue and Hertfordshire County Council to provide sandbags and support those affected. Dedicated volunteers making a difference in Hertfordshire! #Community
Volunteers from HFRS and Herts Police joined forces in Watford for an Arson Patrol, inspecting sites at risk of deliberate fires. They gathered vital evidence to help crews and police prevent arson and keep the community safe. Thank you to our volunteers for your commitment!
