Fresno City Council voted 6-0 in a special meeting this morning to appoint Annalisa Perea to fill the District 1 vacancy effective Dec. 14. The seat was vacated when Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria was sworn in to the CA Assembly earlier this week.

On Wednesday, Councilmember Annalisa Perea was officially sworn in as District 1 Councilmember on the Fresno City Council. She was joined by her family, including her father and brother, who both served as councilmembers with the City of Fresno. Congratulations! 🎉
