Sawston Village College was the first of Henry Morris's village colleges and so the opening in 1930 was a momentous occasion, attended by the then Prince Of Wales. Here he is planting a tree, which you can still find on the school site today, marked by a plaque.

Tonight our GCSE Drama pupils saw a one man show entitled ‘Numinous’ written and performed by Andy Hanlon. It explored the life and thinking of Henry Morris, the visionary behind village colleges. Pupils were hugely entertained and in awe of the content and performance.
