Year 3 have been struggling with their add/sub of 3 digit numbers. Using a consolidation week from White Rose Education schemes of learning, we revisited the formal written methods. Some children used the place value mats for the whole lesson, while others moved on quickly

There can be no greater inspiration to sporting and non-sporting folk than this guy. Adversity meant nothing to him. Love to all his family, friends and team mates

I really enjoyed teaching Y1/2 using the new mixed age White Rose Education resources today. The split screen slides are great for challenging children in each year embedding a visualiser in the powerpoint helped me to model numbers on a place value chart for all to see!
