Three postboxes at Bruce Castle: a Penfold, a VR wallbox, and a fluted pillar box (vertical aperture) with topper. There also used to be an airmail box, but I believe this is the one that is now at the Postal Museum. A coat of paint would not go astray. #PostBoxSaturday

#PostBoxSaturday , starting without a postbox. Here's Rowland Hill, in Bruce Castle. This is a plaster cast of Peter Hollins' sculpture. The original, in Carrara marble, was carved for the Birmingham GPO. Somehow it was lost while in wartime storage, so this is the best we have.
