I don't eat out much in London these days so was taken aback by the prices last night. Nearly £75 for 4 dishes and 1 glass of sherry at Barrafina. Just crazy.

Congrats to Jon Bonné for winning the André Simon Awards for his New French Wine. It's an absolute tour de force. Or should that be tour de France. I got a pint at Wetherspoons so, in some ways, we're both winners.
