In October 2021, the Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance board approved funding to support malaria vaccine roll-out in areas of moderate to high malaria transmission. With Ghana, Kenya & Malawi, being first to benefit. It is being used to support continued implementation of vaccination programmes.
