A note from my self-coaching journal 1): There is not always daily or even weekly equilibrium between what is added to and checked off of your to-do list. When more gets added than checked off, you have trouble seeing how it will all get done, and anxiety ensues.

A note from my self-coaching journal 2): The long-term view recognizes that periods of disequilibrium in both directions are natural. One needs faith/confidence in one's self that the important stuff will get done. It always does.

A note from my self-coaching journal 3): The to-do list is not a task master, but rather a safety net that allows one to focus on the task at hand knowing that we don't need to worry about keeping track of other tasks. Have faith in yourself!
