Over Easter we had a fantastic trip to Bormio Italy, snowy conditions early on followed by glorious sunshine later in the week. Pupils took to the slopes and had a brilliant time, they were a credit to the school. Memories that will last forever. ⛷️

As ever, we’re excited to welcome our students back into the classroom and continue raising aspirations and achieving great things!

We hope all our students enjoyed a well-deserved rest and are ready to continue working hard and preparing for the road ahead.

Ridgewood Y9 boys advanced to the semi finals of the Doncaster cup this week with a 6-0 victory over Outwood Adwick. A great team performance with MOTM shared between both debut keepers, Keelan and Jeff!

Another sunny day in Hornsea yesterday for the Y10 coastal fieldwork trip. Students investigated the effectiveness of coastal management and the impact of processes and the community. ⚓️🏖️🍦🌍

Mr Marcus and Miss Page's GCSE geography groups had an amazing time in sunny Hornsea yesterday looking at rates of longshore drift and erosion down the coastline. Well done Y10 for showcasing amazing skills and behaviour all day!

Our Y9 students are involved in the 'We Compose' music project, supported by Music in the Round.

Yesterday they watched a fantastic performance by the Ligeti String Quartet, who even played some of the musical pieces composed by our very own students in their music lessons! 🎻

We will be holding a non uniform day on Thursday this week to celebrate the end of term 🐇🍫🐣
