Dam building is an incredible feat of engineering. One of their many benefits is to slow down the flow of water, helping to reduce flooding downstream. This is certainly a necessary asset in current times

1/ Incredible amounts of water being stored by beaver dams after heavy rain on Friday.
🌳 Due to the many dams, channels & felled trees that block its way, water takes much longer to leave these hills thanks to the beavers.
