They will be monitored for the next week to make sure they are healthy and settling into their new home, before being released to join our wild birds. A bit more info for you all on the 2023 figures: a total of 55 Chough pairs were found across Cornwall with 39 successfully raising a total of 112 young. In 2022, it was 25 successful pairs with 71 young so quite a jump. Well done to Cornish Choughs - proper job!
