Today is World Laughter Day.

Many people think that hospices can be sad places and although at times there is sadness, at Helen & Douglas House, we try to bring joy and happiness to the children and families staying with us. 🧡Here are some beautiful photos!

In honour of International Nurses Day, we’re hosting an exclusive first look at our Summer Collection on Sunday 12th May, 10am-4pm, at our Helen & Douglas House charity shops! ☀️

Last weekend, we joined the Youth & Transition team and some of our volunteers for a Network Saturday youth group with some of the young people of Helen & Douglas House. The day was full of laughs, delicious homecooked food & lots of games!

To support Stress Awareness Month this April, our HR team organised Gardening and Art Therapy sessions to help employees take some time out of their day and take small positive actions towards self-care. 🧡
