This is Ahmir Jolliff. At home, he was known as “Smiley”. Ahmir loved soccer, played the tuba and sang in choir. He had a habit of touching people on their shoulder and asking them how their day was. On Thursday morning, Ahmir was killed at school in Perry, IA.

How is it possible. It’s been a year since you left us. Can’t wrap my head around that. Andy, we miss you. KARE 11 is not the same without you. We miss your steady hand and sly smile. I think about you, and pray for you. I miss you my friend.
