In assembly, we learned about how Mexican artist 'Frida Kahlo' used art to help her overcome illness and injury. Mrs Goode then challenged us to follow a step-by-step tutorial to create our own 'Frida Kahlo' style portrait or self-portrait! Look at some of our fabulous efforts!

Last week we were treated to a fantastic class assembly from Ladybird class all about plants, painting portraits and the Great Fire of London.  All spoke clearly and confidently about their work and some great comic timing from Frank and Hugo. 🎭🔥😱🫜. #aiminghigh #goheather

It was a bit hot for school the other week for Bumblebee - they all loved the water obstacle course! Such focus and determination. #aiminghigh

Another great assembly from Bumblebee this time.  We were treated to some fantastic paired dances, found all about light, reading expressively, persuasive writing linked to Stitch ahead and all about the Anglo Saxons. Such a confident performance. #aiminghigh

Red Devils - Year 6 2025

We have been busy this week in Dragonfly making bird boxes for our DT project! We used woodwork skills to create our products and we then hung some of them on the school grounds for all the birds to enjoy!
