Today we launched our report, 'Cruel Summers', based upon working with 109 renters over summer to track summer conditions in their rental homes... 🧵

What do temperatures like this mean? Renters told us that their homes became unliveable and everyday life impossible. Sleep is out of the question. For people with existing health conditions, the heat is a particular problem.

Our new report, 'No Reprieve', looks at what renters experienced during Perth's unprecedented November heatwave. Rental homes were above 30°C for over 8 hours a day, with an average temperature of 29°C from November 22-25. #HealthyHomes #Heatwaves #Perth
