I ran the Doynton really hard half marathon today. More mud than Glasto 2016 🤣 extreme hills, obstacles, streams and livestock! An amazing day out with friends! 27th in my age category and 60th woman out of 150! Already looking for the next challenge 🦹🏻‍♀️💫🥳This Woman Runs #DHHM22

My last LONG run before Sundays race, aimed for 10,ended up 12. Never without drama, phone bat died, had to rely on sense of direction for last 3.Strava beacon stopped moving, husband was about to come out looking for me 🤣 Had a selfie with some lambs, Spring is on the way 🌱

Stepped up my clinical hours this week due to the increasing pressure of covid on maternity staffing, perks include:
1. Further getting to know the teams
2. Finally figuring out the baby tagging system
3. Days off in the week to run through the mud in the sunshine Worcestershire Acute NHS

Here for the late night runs. Fitting in half marathon training around family & work is certainly taking me to some interesting depths of what is possible 🌟
