Sushi Saturday in the Henry house 😍. My addiction to @uramaki_sushi is getting out of hand 😂.

Just took almost 2 weeks away from work for the first time in 13 years! Who knows what tomorrow’s inbox holds…but for now I’m reminiscing about sunsets, walks and wine.

To be clear….we did text to say goodnight to Pooface, we didn’t neglect him entirely 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Our 5 year old has worked out how to broadcast children’s Netflix to every tv in the house. I still don’t know how to do this! ‘Waffle’ was a lovely addition to my working day though….🙄

I know it’s a reflection on how overworked teachers are that they’re sending messages at 4:30am….but….4:30am….4:30am?! 😴

A year to the day since I got to marry this chap. Witnessed by 3 guests wearing masks, and listening to the registrars choice of playlist (90s pop FYI). Here’s to many more years of crying with laughter during serious moments 😂 🥂.

Had a leak and our ceiling fell in, really nice to discover that Halifax home insurance doesn’t cover leaks….🙄. I can probably learn plastering right?!

Text this evening from my parents who are Wednesday post school childcare…. Seminars > Fairgrounds 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

At the end of what feels like day 2785256 of homeschool, Rosie asked if she could design her own careers session. She narrated and I wrote. To be fair to her I’m actually pretty impressed 😂.

First day back at work and my morning did not start like this 😭. Does feel kind of nice to actually use my brain though!

Pleased to report that my track record of not being able to get through a meeting with my union line manager without hideously embarrassing myself is still in tact 👍🏻. The man has the patience of a saint. 😂.
