Last night, the team at Hay had the pleasure of the attendance from The Ignite Youth Group. Showing the group the various assets and explaining that we do as a station.

Last night, we said goodbye to Crew manager Harry Ratcliffe. Who has served 10 years within the service. The station would like to wish Harry all the best for the future

Last night we said farewell to a popular member of our team, Firefighter Luke Newton. Luke joined us in 2015, and followed in the footsteps of his father, Station Manager Mark Ayling, who attended the station this evening to present Luke with his Certificate of Service.

Tonight we welcomed Firefighter Jon Turtle, the newest member of the team to Station 16, Hay-on-Wye after passing his Initial Recruits Course. If you're interested in joining the team here at Station 16, we are holding a recruitment open evening on Monday 20th May from 6.30pm.

Last night, Hay-on-Wye Fire Station welcomed the newest member of the crew! Firefighter Jack Hughes. In his spare time, Jack works at home on the farm! We look forward to Jack playing a key part in our team.
