Currently in hospital being infused with the first round of medication to deal with my new disability that has been dormant within my body untill nearly halfway through my 38th year. #ulcerativecolitis Still hasn't stopped me writing 300 words of my new novel

Just had a Costa coffee tea cake with butter and marmalade, first time off hospital menu, all good at the moment. Had no idea I would become a food critic too but with this I think it will become natural. Don't worry, won't be taking photos of everything I eat.

After the third day of meditation and 12 days in hospital, I'll likely be discharged this afternoon. Just waiting on a prescription.

Watched #MasterChefCelebrity yesterday whilst awaiting discharge from hospital after ulcerated #colitis. Any tips for food gratefully received. Still a bit confused as to what I can and can't eat.
