Great to be back with @The_PFFM! From expanding access to Narcan, to suing PFAS manufacturers, we were able to make so much progress together at the AG's Office. As Governor, I'm committed to getting our firefighters what they need to take care of themselves and our communities.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee has approved $1 billion in new raises for teachers and school staff. Teachers will now make at least $72,728, while the minimum pay for office staff, custodians and other school workers will be $24/hour.

We remember the 19 Prescott, Arizona, fire fighters who died in the line of duty on June 30, 2013, when a fast-moving wildfire near Yarnell overcame them. It was the most significant loss of fire fighter life in a single incident since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Sept. 11 is a testament to the true spirit of fire fighters and rescue workers. Today, we honor those who sacrificed everything to save others and stand with those suffering from WTC-related illnesses. Their resilience is a reminder of the lasting impact of that fateful day.
