Tonight we are having a big celebratory Staff Shout Out to recognise the hard work of our two new Heads of Year: Mr Hodson-Smith & Mr England! Brilliant work across Years 8 & 9 and two fabulous assemblies. A great year ahead for both year groups thanks to you two! #TeamHavelock

Well done to Year 9 for your singing in assembly today. Great to hear Year 9 performing The Academy Song together as a year group to start assembly in style! Thank you to our Principal Emma Marshall for accompanying on the piano! #TeamHavelock

A lovely day! Too many highlights to mention, but I loved hearing 8T singing with Miss Eke and then hearing 7E smash the Academy Song the first time they had ever sung it with Mr Cooke! Away from singing, I do have to say how fabulous our new Year 7s are doing already this year!

Great to see so many faces down to sports clubs tonight. Over 60 students taking part in clubs & fixtures. A great start to preparations for the year ahead and the DRET Winter shield in October. A great effort from year 11 who saw students turn up after intervention 👏🏻
