Two Senators who endorsed overturning a Presidential election have been overturned by the voters, and that is the way it's supposed to be.

We spend $716,000,000,000 on defense and insurrectionists were practically escorted into the U.S. Capitol. Read that again.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.), on @cnn, on the first moments of the Capitol riot: “I told my colleagues to take their Congressional pins off” so they couldn’t be identified as members of Congress. Chilling.

Did I miss the memo? Since when did the people who are responsible for committing horrible crimes get to tell the victims of those crimes to "move on" and dictate what the consequences will be for their own actions?

They fomented an attempted coup. They knew there was no evidence of widespread fraud. They nonetheless lied to the public and objected to certifying electors. They must be expelled from the Senate.

Chuck Schumer must be as ruthless helping Americans as McConnell was harming Americans.

Absolutely insane. Both of the white men who were in the Senate with flex cuffs to take hostages were granted bail. If you don’t believe in systemic racism at this point you are simply willfully ignorant.

Spare me the Republican party’s fake outrage about the deficit. The GOP’s tax cut for the rich added $1,900,000,000,000 to the debt. When billionaires and corporations are getting a payout, the GOP couldn’t care less about the national debt.

As Marc says, Republican legislators in the states have launched a wave of voter suppression measures unlike anything since Jim Crow. We need to act now to restore voting rights and protect our democracy.

Trickle-down economics is a cruel hoax. Cruel because it's used by America's ultra-wealthy to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. A hoax because nothing has ever trickled down.
