Happy New Year to my friends and family! My support system is amazing. If I could be cured by all the love I feel, then this cancer would have been squashed on day one. I'd like to believe 2023 will be a good one! How are you celebrating this evening?

My Mom makes me peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cuts off some of the weird crust pieces I don't like. Chemotherapy is tomorrow! I'll be MIA again for a while but thanks for the constant support, friends! ❤️

I'm here on my off chemotherapy week to tell you all that you're the best and I appreciate each & every one of you! Seriously, though. Your Twitter feeds brighten my day and I'm so appreciative of being able to still connect in some small way (phones are so handy with fatigue)!

This Tuesday I'll know if I can have surgery to remove my tumors or if I'll be on chemotherapy for the rest of my life. I feel like a debbie downer but I've never been more scared. If you have the funny memes or cute animal pictures I would love to see them 🥹

I still have to wait a week to find anything out. It's cool, not like I'm nervous or anything 🤷‍♀️ Thank you for all the memes! They really helped ❤️

This week I received the news that chemotherapy is working! I'll have to have the full 12 rounds but the fact that it's working is amazing news. Here is a picture of Lulu (almost 20!) as a bit of extra feel good for this week 🥰

I'm looking for a new series or movie to watch. I'm a huge anime fan but have been burnt out lately! Any ideas/recommendations for this evening?

We had a service dog at the chemo ward and I swear every one's face lit up when he walked through the doors. Dogs are the best, man.

Another minor set back this week. I have an infection in my leg and I'm unable to walk on it. So, we have to take a break from chemo. I have to be my own nurse and administer my own iv antibiotics. It's not a fun learning curve! I'm tired, ya'll, but hanging in here.

Today I received the news that I can have my surgery! It'll be 12 rounds of chemo and then the big "Mother of all Surgeries" (literally what it's called btw). I'm so happy! It'll be a tough battle but I've come so far, this is just one more step to my recovery!

It looks like my surgery date is moved up to ASAP. I'm nervous but I know this is my best shot at being cancer free! On the plus side, no more chemo for a while. Now my hair can start to grow back!

I don't know how to say this but I'm nearing the end of my life. The cancer has invaded my liver and I no longer qualify for the life saving surgery. I am still fighting but at this rate I have less than a year to live. We are beyond devastated.

After a month in hospital, I am finally released to go home! I can't wait to rest without a million machines beeping and random people screaming.

I have the most amazing people in my life.
