Off to start again this morning in the knowledge that many people have donated to the Haslemere Museum #Autism project and that over £2500 has been raised. Many thanks to all. Starting off from close to @DogandPheasant, Brook and hope to be ending in #Haslemere tomorrow midday.

So sorry I will miss this Emma Darwin but we have a Full Council meeting Haslemere TC for appointing a new Haslemere Town Mayor. What a horrid clash of dates.

Then I expect to be super healthy having walked 50+ miles in the last two weeks for Haslemere Museum #charity #fundraiser. Can't say it was brisk as some of the paths are difficult if you are #barefoot! #NationalWalkingMonth #GreensandWay @SurreyHillsAONB. Nearly home!

Having finished my #charity walk this morning, my last duty as Haslemere Town Mayor is to hand over at Haslemere TC Full Council meeting tonight. Thank you to all who have supported and helped me during the year. It has been a great honour to serve the people of #Haslemere

Just to get this account up to date, I have been delighted to attend the #Haslemere Classic Car Show HCCS, also Haslemere Museum to join in the thank you to all the #volunteers. As usual the staff and Trustees worked hard to show their appreciation.

Yesterday outside the Town Hall, I led a memorial service for the #DDay75 landings. The Royal British Legion and the Fire Service supported the event with several retired military members.

On Tuesday I visited Haslemere Museum. There is always something new to be seen. Interesting meeting, being told about their hopes and aspirations. We are very lucky to have such a legacy in #Haslemere, run by dedicated staff and many, #volunteers. They deserve all our support.

Attended Guildford Cathedral with Jacquie Keen for the #ArmedForcesDay service. Wonderful to see cadets, and the armed forces marching, with the drums and brass. A very poignant service with hymns, readings and prayers.

Congratulations to our new Town Mayor Cllr Simon Dear and his Deputy for the coming year, Cllr Jacquie Keen.
