⚠️ Breaking: Port of Delta blockade up! 

We join the  #A15ForPalestine global movement in blocking the arteries of capitalism & are completely blockading Delta Port to refuse business as usual. We demand immediate two-way arms embargo on Israel. Canada must stop arming genocide!

Deltaport is one of Canada's largest ports, generating $1 billion every year through its infrastructure. Zim has ships & containers  at DeltaPort. Zim is Israel’s largest cargo shipping company, dealing in Israeli military tech, arms & consumer goods. Zim is a war profiteer!

For over 76 years, Israel has maintained an illegal and violent regime of colonialism, apartheid, and occupation over Palestinian people. Canada must unequivocally implement a two-way arms embargo, with no loopholes and an end to all existing military export permits to Israel.

Many rank and file union members have joined Delta Port blockade & our People's Picket for Palestine. We call on dock workers in ILWU Local 502 to respect our picket line and join us in solidarity with the Palestinian people. An injury to one is an injury to all!

Dockworkers around the world are refusing to load Israeli cargo. This follows the tradition of dockworkers who refused to unload goods from apartheid South Africa. We encourage port workers to treat arms shipments and goods from Israel as 'hot cargo' & refuse to load/unload them
