Residentials provide some of the best experiences for children to grow! As an educator it is a joy watch,but they are also exhausting and demanding! A big thank you to the amazing staff at Cheam Fields Primary for giving up your time to make this possible! We are truly grateful!

A great reminder to us all as we start a new term! IMO, we can still get the best out of people and hold them to account whilst being kind! 👏

So proud of my little team today! 15 miles, 35,000 steps- remembering Grandad on his 7 year anniversary and thinking of our special ones still fighting the fight today! It’s a great cause that means SO much and we are so grateful to have contributed £1200 today! 👏

A great start to day 2 of our ‘New to DSL’ training course. Yesterday delegates explored: ➡️the role of the DSL ➡️safeguarding culture ➡️importance of multiagency partnerships ➡️signs and indicators. They finished the session exploring a case study & considering risks.

Day 2 of our ‘New to DSL’ training is underway and delegates are now completing a referral form, considering the process social care teams have to go through with thresholds & preparing themselves for an ICPC where they will take on the various multi agency roles.

An excellent Day 2 of our ‘New to DSL’ training course today where staff: ➡️ used their referrals to decide if it met threshold for assessment ➡️took part in an ICPC ➡️developed their knowledge of Prevent, SCRs, training records, online safety and effective information sharing

Having time to reflect at the end of the day gave delegates a chance to think about the impact of the training. Thank you all for embracing every task and demonstrating a keen enthusiasm for learning.

We are pleased to be welcoming Gamechanger, an award winning company, to support Year 6’s across the LEO Academy Trust to recognise the signs of child criminal exploitation & county lines. Such good preparation as they prepare to transition to secondary school and key life skills.
