28. Howard Jacobson

He writes comic novels that often revolve around the dilemmas of British Jewish characters. In February 2011 Jacobson appeared on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs.

29. Will Self

Self is a contributor to the BBC Radio 4 programme A Point of View, to which he contributes radio essays. In 2013, Self took part in discussions about becoming the inaugural BBC Radio 4 Writer-in-Residence, but later withdrew.

30. Melanie Phillips

Phillips has appeared as a panellist on the BBC Radio 4 programme The Moral Maze and BBC One's Question Time. She was awarded the Orwell Prize for Journalism in 1996, while she was writing for The Observer.

31. Laurie Penny

In April 2011, Penny presented the Channel 4 Dispatches programme 'Cashing in on Degrees' and also appeared on Channel 4's satirical current affairs programme 10 O'Clock Live and on BBC Two's Newsnight.

32. Maureen Lipman

In May 2008, she appeared in the BBC documentary series Comedy Map of Britain. On Sunday 11 January 2009, BBC Four was devoted to a 'Maureen Lipman Night'. On 5 February 2009, she appeared in the third series of teen drama Skins.

33. Jonathan Freedland

He presents BBC Radio 4's contemporary history series The Long View. Freedland also writes thrillers, mainly under the pseudonym Sam Bourne, and has written a play, Jews In Their Own Words, performed in 2022 at the Royal Court Theatre, London.

34. David Aaronovitch

Aaranovitch began his media career in the early 1980s as a television researcher and later producer for the ITV programme Weekend World. In 1988, he began working at the BBC as founding editor of the political current affairs programme On the Record.

35. Charlie Wolf

Since leaving TalkSport, Wolf worked mainly as a radio and television pundit and commentator, mainly debating or speaking on American politics and news stories for a variety of broadcasters including the BBC.

36. Jerry Springer

In 2016, 2017 and 2018, he guest hosted three episodes of the BBC's The One Show with TV host Alex Jones. He appeared in an episode of BBC One's television series Who Do You Think You Are? on August 27, 2008.

37. Ruby Wax

She was a script editor for the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous (1992–2012), also appearing in two episodes. Wax began working with the BBC in 1991, with the show The Full Wax (1991–94).

38. Vanessa Feltz

Feltz presented an early morning radio show on BBC Radio 2 from 2011 to 2022 and also hosted the Breakfast Show on BBC Radio London. Since September 2022, she has presented the weekday drivetime show on Talkradio and TalkTV.
