Finally getting the chance to read the Listen Imagine Compose toolkit for primary. This introduction from one of the authors -Nancy Evans - jumped out at me. As someone who spends her days trying to encourage those early musical explorations,I couldn’t agree more Nancy Evans
This is exactly why Harris Federation we have spent two years creating a comprehensive Primary Music curriculum with all resources for Y1-6 for non specialist teachers to deliver with confidence. It’s a long game as Mark Phillips has said and getting Primary right is crucial.
