Children at Harriers thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected snow this week as the school was covered in a blanket of the white stuff! It’s wonderful to see them having a good time! #snow

The safety council were out this morning reminding parents to park safely to keep the children safe. They stopped parents parking on the zig zags and driving into Harriers View as it is unsafe for pedestrians. Please park at Horton Tennis Grounds and walk through the park.

A big thank you to North Oxfordshire Topsoil who donated some compost and topsoil. The children were very excited to see it being unloaded from their truck by crane! We are using this in our Nursery planter and the Storytelling Garden planter and other raised beds round school.

A big thanks to PC Rob Kelly who ran an assembly for the Year 5 and Year 6 pupils about online safety, cyber bullying and the criminal age of responsibility. He spoke about the correct age restrictions for the apps on their phones. See our newsletter for online safety guidance.

It was lovely to see lots of parents and carers at our behaviour and wellbeing workshop this morning. The next one is on Wednesday 26th March 2.45-3.15pm. We will be thinking about the Zones of Regulation and how this tool can support children to self-regulate.

Easter Bonnet Parade fun before the Easter holidays — the creativity was in full bloom!

World Book Day 2025 was a huge success, with both staff and students coming together to celebrate the joy of reading. The highlight was the vibrant and creative dress parade. A big thank you to everyone for making this year’s World Book Day such a memorable event!

We marked VE Day with a lovely whole-school picnic, bringing everyone together to share in the spirit of community. A group of our pupils also took part in a local VE Day event. We are incredibly proud of how respectfully and enthusiastically our pupils embraced the day. #veday
