Woke up in a lot of pain after surgery at 4pm yesterday and was told I would be staying overnight. I was much too nauseous to post online at all. This morning feels more doable.

Pain was a little much but drugs are helping now. I'll be having physical therapy soon. Thank you all for your well wishes and donations. I have a feeling my recovery will take a little longer that I'd hoped. Surgery took 3 hours instead of 1 and my body aches.

Physical therapy was fine. They were basically just making sure I can walk up and down stairs, use the restroom, and get in and out of bed. Which I can while on the drugs.

I'm not allowed to do much of anything while recovering (which is still unclear how long that will be but could be up to 6 weeks). I'm not allowed to even lift a jug of milk. Welp back to being a helpless lump.

I have most definitely not been okay lately. Health-wise things are improving but mentally and emotionally it's been bleak. I'll be starting therapy soon but I know for a lot of us we don't really know when the other side of *gestures at the world* this... will come. <3 to u all
