Here’s to a Happy SpielMas - A Festival of Games to you all! I started Day 1 of #SpielMas ⛄️ by playing one of my wife’s favorite two-player games, Blue Moon City. It actually plays up to four, but it is fantastic with two. What did you play to start the festival?
Day 2 of SpielMas - A Festival of Games, and I taught old friends a new game: Codenames. We played 2 teams of 4 and got 2 rounds in before having to end early in a draw. Still, the comment was “I was just warming up!” Always a good sign when you teach a new game! #SpielMas ⛄️
On Day 3 of the SpielMas - A Festival of Games ⛄️ festival, I didn’t get to play a game. My elderly aunt tested positive for COVID, so I have become a caregiver instead. It only makes our annual celebration all that more special. Play when you can, and cherish the moment! #SpielMas
On Day 4 of the annual SpielMas - A Festival of Games festival I was able to get in a few games of at the end of the day with my lovely wife on Board Game Arena. I’m still caregiving my C19+ aunt, which reminds to celebrate this privilege with every day of the festival. Play on! #SpielMas
On Day 5 of the SpielMas - A Festival of Games festival, I went back to my roots. I’m still away from home, tending to an ailing relative, but my lovely wife and I played a game of Catan on Board Game Arena. It was the first game we ever played 20+ years ago! #SpielMas ⛄️

The final day of the six-day SpielMas - A Festival of Games festival found me home again, teaching Palace to old friends. Getting to end the day playing a game with friends should never be taken lightly. #HappyNewYear #SpielMas
