This 14.43 acre parcel of land is paying $179K/yr in property taxes.

By comparison, just 0.88 acres of developed land on Bank Street pays $409K/yr - that's 37X the tax per acre.

We need to tax brownfield land far more to discourage land speculation and encourage redevelopment.

I think #MerivaleRoad in #Ottawa needs some TLC. It loos like a war zone.
