I don't think I've ever seen a campaign run exclusively as a cynical defensive PR rehab pitch like this before. "Actually, you should vote for Cuomo because he should be entitled to get away with doing bad things" being a potentially winning messaging strategy is deeply sad.

We were so proud to support Brad Lander as our number one choice for Mayor of New York City, and are excited to support him in whatever he plans to do next. Completely unreleated: hey Brad, did you see that you and Zohran received nearly 70% of the votes in NY-10? Interesting!

I stand with my colleagues in the Assembly and the City Council. We, as a party, oppose these cruel deportations and the Republican assault on New Yorkers. We won’t be silent while families are torn apart.

1000% behind my great friend Jessica González-Rojas (votejgr.bsky.social). Unmatched, a bridge builder, and someone who puts community first. Let’s get her to the Senate! 👏🏼 secure.actblue.com/donate/jgr-que…

Two dead people, and at least one living person who didn't vote, supposedly cast their ballot in the Republican primary in my City Council race. I'm calling upon the District Attorney or the Attorney General's office to conduct a full investigation. nypost.com/2025/07/22/us-…

The legislature passed the Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act to keep banks accountable. Today, the right of homeowners to an even playing field in foreclosure actions is being placed in danger yet again in the NYCourtsCOA , with FAPA in the crosshairs of the banks.

Weird and factually incorrect thread Alexa Aviles has not launched a congressional campaign yet, she is participating in the DSA endorsement process which is different than launching a campaign

New Ferry Map just dropped! As exciting as that is, I just can't help imagine this convo: “Guys we just have to wait a couple days until November 10th and we’ll get way more traction on social media” “Why?” “Okay so there was this freighter in the Great Lakes fifty years ago…”

Absolutely vile that we had a record breaking mandate of an election, but the agenda of it is now under threat to be hobbled by this potential new council speaker. How can this person "speak for the council" and simultaneously be against the clear public will?

"directing the FTC to study concession pricing at sports venues." The mystery of a controlled environment where you can't bring your own food in and they can set prices however they want. When people complain "food is unaffordable" I really don't think they meant this, anyway.
