i have listened to every lana del rey album as she really was the first artist i discovered for myself. wasn't introduced to her. didn't grow up being exposed to her music. i heard 'video games' on the radio one evening years ago and my mind was blown.

fun fact: my song 'Stars In His Eyes' was inspired by the Shakespeare quote from R+J that goes: "take him and cut him out in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun" 🌟👁️👁️🌟

people have mixed opinions about TikTok but i have to say, the amount of music i have discovered because of that app is insane. it's all such good stuff by previously lesser known artists and they're finally getting recognition they deserve thanks to someone making it viral.
