I love that flow can happen when we're most challenged. Think about when you've had these trouble shots or recovery shots in the past… For a lot of us our focus actually gets much better.

Immediate feedback is a trigger for flow. At @flowcodegolf, we’ve certainly talked about post shot routine, but do you have a post round routine? Sometimes you just want to throw your scorecard in the trash or your clubs in the lake.

Visualization is a skill that can be learned. It can help to train it at home first, before you bring it to the golf course. In your pre shot routine you can choose to visualize in three different ways… First, we can visualize a static target like a bullseye in the distance.

When we talk about focus, the main question we ask is “what are you paying attention to when it matters most?” So when I look at the shot that’s in front of me, what do I see? Well, I can see a tree, a bunker, a flagstick, I can see the green.

I wanted to share an important message for coaches. In today’s world, we are drowning in information. I encourage you today to start to use some of the information you are learning and apply it as soon as you can.
