I’ve had the best first full week of school with my Grade 3 and 4 students. I can’t wait to continue to grow together!

Our Open House last night was a success. It was so nice to meet my students families in person. 😊

This week Henry Braun School we spent time learning the truth about residential schools and honouring the survivors and those who didn’t make it back home. #EveryChildMatters #truthandreconciliationday 🧡

To recognize education week we are encouraging all of our staff and students to dress as their future self on Tuesday and on Thursday morning starting at 8:00 am we will be hosting books and bagels in the gym. In addition, on Thursday we will be having a Braun spirit wear day!

We did our first Story Workshop today! We’ve been learning about story elements. The students were asked to create a story with all elements using the given items. Each story was SO unique and creative. I can’t wait to read and share the writing pieces that will go with this!
