On September 10, at the fourth press conference on #Super #Typhoon #Yagi , it was reported  by the Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that—as of 4pm that day—a total of 76,000 tons of garbage had already been cleared from across the province.

Affected by #Super #Typhoon #Yagi, more than 90% of the plants at the #Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden were destroyed, but all of the more than 2,000 animals are safe. Of these, #giant #panda brothers "Gong Gong" and "Shun Shun" are still lively.

#Hainan #Center, the #tallest #building under construction in #Hainan,has effectively resisted the direct impact of the typhoon Yagi and suffered no major damage to its facilities and equipment. It is expected that the construction of the Center will fully resume on Sept 20.

Following #Super #Typhoon #Yagi’s passage, #Hainan’s #Yangpu Port has resumed operations at all of its docks. On September 10th, the 300,000-tonne Very Large Crude Carrier registered under "China Yangpu Port," returned to its home port, carrying 260,000 tonnes of #crude #oil.
