Congratulations to all the 2023 Breakthrough Prize winners, including HHMI’s Clifford Brangwynne (brangwynnelab) Princeton University and Anthony Hyman MPI-CBG Dresden! bit.ly/3BW8otE

Quiz question: Did we (1) open a new donut shop, or (2) go out to celebrate PhD students Hailey Tanner and Lenny Wiesner's successful general exams? You guessed it! Congrats to them both!

Happy to announce publicly that I was awarded a K99/R00 from NCI! Big thanks to Proud Cliff Brangwynne brangwynnelab and my co-mentor on this project Cigall Kadoch Cigall Kadoch Looking forward to big discoveries!

Taking a break from Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) to enjoy the beautiful sunset @MBL with Jessica Zhao yoonji kim Hailey Tanner and Gladfelter Lab buddies Veronica Farmer and @madkeenen

Congrats to coauthors PhD student Chang Choi & former PhD student Daniel SW Lee & soon-to-be Prof David W. Sanders! on this really interesting paper showing how condensate interfaces can accelerate protein aggregation: Biophysical Journal cell.com/biophysj/fullt…

Planning GSS & presenting with my awesome cohort was fun! Sharing my science with my department was also a blast-I was honored to be presented the "Best Talk" award!👩🔬 Thanks all for coming and Rigoberto Hernandez Elizabeth Zeitler and Udit Batra Waters Corporation for coming from far to join us!🤩

Excited to share that the first paper of my PhD work in brangwynnelab is out! In this work Nature Communications, we focus on how condensates in the cell nucleus respond to mechanical deformation during cell confined migration, a process involved in cancer cell metastasis. (1/3)

HNY! In case you thought 2025 is the year of the snake, it's actually the year of the SQUID🦑Excited to present this new protocol paper from the brangwynnelab on isolating+transfecting squid primary cells🧫✨! Check it out here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Amazing group of students in Brangwynne rotation at this year's Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) Physiology course!!!!
