These titles in sum— Sertillanges: Work well. Pieper: Rest well. These complement each other so beautifully. It was a total accident to read them together but Providence knew.

Please pray for the soul and family of a 19 year old girl who passed away in an accident. She is a devout Catholic who faithfully served her community and gave her time to those in need. A beloved member of her parish and a light to many. Lord have mercy. 🙏

Finally have a parish home where I can lead SoulCore classes. Rosary and movement. No Catholic needs Hindu bodily prayer (yoga) for health. We have all that we need elsewhere to align ourselves mind, body, soul with God’s design. He is good. He is trustworthy. 💙

Apropos of nothing, I believe Servant of God Dorothy Day said that this is why the liturgy and the sacred spaces, vestments, and vessels used to celebrate it should be as beautiful as possible: because the Church is the one place the poor can encounter such beauty for free.

I’m curious, if I were to make roadside shrine kits for around $250-300 each, that could be assembled with a screwdriver and a bit of glue, how many of you would be interested?

Didn't want to mention anything since I figured it would turn around, but we had a cancellation that put us back below $5k and no new pledges in the last couple days. Unless we pad things a bit, Wild Stars is still at risk! kickstarter.com/projects/cirso…

Pope St. John Paul II called St. Bartolo Longo a true apostle of the Rosary. At the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Fr. Andrew Hofer O.P., describes how St. Bartolo was transformed by grace. He heard a promise that would shape his life: Whoever spreads the Rosary is saved.

Looking for fictional Fantasy settings that are not our Earth and contain technology of at least mid-20th Century level. (Post-Victorian). There's China Mieille's Bas-Lag, my own Dracoheim, Heinlein's Magic, Inc, Anderson's Operation Chaos. Any others that you can recommend?
