This Monday 11th November HaSS Cornwall Director of Research & Impact, Professor Catriona Pennell Prof. Catriona Pennell, will be doing a reading at the official Guard’s Chapel Remembrance Day Ceremony in Westminster of the poem ‘My Dreams as a Child’ by Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha.

Today, Humanities educators welcomed Jayne Kirkham MP for Truro & Falmouth, MP for Falmouth and Truro, to UoE Humanities & Social Sciences Cornwall. Using the recent Royal Historical Society report, we discussed the value and vibrancy of History as a degree subject and ways to overcome the threats facing History and the Humanities in UK HE.
